Climate change is affecting countries in the 2 Seas region, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, faster and to a greater extent than was previously expected. These coastal areas need to be protected from the rising sea level and heavy storms that occur more and more frequently. The international Polder2C’s project aimed to improve the 2 Seas regions’ capacity to adapt to these challenges.

We do this by:
Researching the strength of Flood Defences
Designing new and better Emergeny Response
Educating the next generation of Water Managers

Polder2C’s received a contribution of 3.9 million euros from the European Interreg 2 Seas program 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
