I've been listening to the world for 50+ years. I started SWL in Florida with a Lafayette HA226 receiver and a 60' long wire antenna. A lot of the stations I used to hear decades ago are no longer around. My current receiver's are an ATS25 max-Decoder, CCRANE CCSKYWAVE, Sangean ATS-803A and XHDATA D-219. My antenna is an 100 foot (30 meter) long wire with a nooelec Lana LNA.

I've been a licensed HAM, KD4WXI since 1993. On the HAM side my radios include (2) Baofeng UV17 PRO GPS and (2) Baofeng UV-5R HT's with a Ramsey Electronics PA10 power amp. I don't presently have a HF transceiver, but I monitor FT8 looking for a far away operators.
