CALIXAR, a spin off from CNRS dedicated to the native isolation of therapeutic targets, develops cutting-edge technologies allowing the deophanization, extraction, purification and stabilization of the full length and native MP in solution (GPCRs, Ion Channels, Transporters and Enzymes), while keeping their structural and functional integrity. No refolding steps are required.

Such approach can be extended to non-membranes proteins which form aggregates in solution.

Interestingly, instead of modifying the MP to adapt to the environment (using deletions and point mutations strategies), our innovative and unique approach consists on modifying the chemical environment that fits to the biochemistry of the MP and guaranties the functionality conservation.

Our approach is suitable for antibody development, vaccine applications, ligand screening, protein/protein interactions and X-ray crystallography.
