The places featured here are almost all within Washington State, as visited on trips from my home in Tacoma. Washington Secret Places was the original name for this channel. The places are secret only in the sense that they may be lesser known. We like subtle beauty, and out-of-the way, lesser-known places. Backroads, and rivers, lakes and shorelines that are removed from the crowds.

The community-building activities featured here are of the efforts made by a small band of Baha'is and their friends in Tacoma and vicinity.
