Welcome to Beyond Watchtower — formerly JW Researcher Rose. I was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 50 years, and through both research and my personal story, I show how much the Watchtower organization has changed. I share publications, original Watchtower articles, and video clips as proof.

I also explain what is now recognized as Religious Trauma Syndrome (RTS). Whether you chose the faith, your parents converted, or you were born in, RTS affects all of us in some way. My family became Witnesses in the 1920s. My dad was always an elder, so I pioneered and married an elder because that was expected. I raised my children the same way—until they broke the cycle.
