Welcome to the YouTube Channel for Lorraine Cahill, Fundamental Engineering Principles (FEP) Instructor at the Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE) on the campus of North Carolina State University. FEP is a 10 course program offered for transportation technicians with little or no engineering background. Courses meet once a week for 3 hours in a live online virtual classroom. Courses include Mathematics, Physics, Geotechnical Engineering, Solid Statics, Strength of Materials, Structure Design, Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulics, Horizontal and Vertical Alignment, and Highway Design.
