This channel is a mix of friends, Family & Hobby. My Grandmother worked for Santa Fe in Barstow California. I can remember going to her work when we would visit her. She worked above the old locomotive shop in the office. Not sure of all her duties but I know she done lots of ordering and payroll and I am sure she had other duties as well. Her working there is probably what peaked my interest in trains. I also remember living in Bend Oregon at the age of 13 and hanging out around the train yard down the road from our house. One of the best meals I had was in a box car with an old Hobo. The kids in the area would always take food stamps that the hobo's would give us and go get nickle candy and take them the change so they would have cash to buy some wine lol That old guy also taught me the difference between a Hobo, Tramp & Bums and taught me who to stay away from when we would pass over the tracks. He even protected me once. Times have changed from back in them days.
