The European Network for Rural Development (ENRD) shares experience on how EU rural development policy is working in practice and networks ideas about how the policy's implementation can be improved. The ENRD was set up in 2008 to help Member States implement their Rural Development Programmes (RDPs) in an efficient manner. Its main stakeholders include National Rural Networks (NRNs), Member State authorities, LEADER Local Action Groups (LAGs) and rural development organisations with an EU perspective. The ENRD is managed by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development.
