After decades as a globally recognized photographer, Gregory semi-retired to spend more time with his family and embrace a simpler life. Feeling that Florida wasn’t the safest place to raise their kids, they moved to a 50-year-old farmhouse in the Ozarks for a change of pace and the chance to experience all four seasons.

Gregory had always loved lawn care, but starting a business in a new field was a big leap. With Jessica’s encouragement—“Why not? The worst that could happen is it doesn’t work, but at least you’ll have some good equipment”—they decided to take the plunge. It’s never too late to start something new, even when you’re over 50.
