The UC Irvine Anti-Cancer Challenge is a community movement to raise awareness and funds for cancer research at the UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and its pediatric research affiliate, Children's Hospital of Orange County.

The Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center is at the forefront of discovering new ways to fight cancer. As the only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center on Orange County, we combine leading-edge research, clinical trials and world-class care for our patients.

Every participant-raised dollar directly funds pilot studies and early phase clinical trials that aim to develop new insights into cancer prevention, treatment and cures — to save lives.
