From the Heart Church Ministries® is a loving church where Jesus Is Lord! The church is located in southern Prince George’s County Maryland in Suitland. This ministry was established in 1981 by the late Dr. John A. Cherry (1940 – 2019) and his wife, Reverend Diana P. Cherry, with an emphasis to love God, hate sin and love to give. The congregation is a family of believers with a heart to obey God’s Word and have a visible hope that ministers to God’s people. Today, Bishop John A. Cherry, II and his wife, Rev. LaWanda Cherry, continue to build and establish the local church and church worldwide.
