The National Practice Guidelines Program (NPGP) is the flagship program of the Department of Health (DOH) to ensure the development, appraisal, and utilization of evidence-based guidelines that guide health professionals in clinical decision-making and policymaking. Currently under the purview of the Disease Prevention and Control Bureau of the Public Health Services Cluster, the NPGP oversees the sectoral processes to develop, disseminate, and facilitate the utilization of DOH-approved Clinical Practice Guidelines, the Omnibus Health Guidelines, Interim Public Health and Clinical Guidance Documents, Guideline Implementation Tools, and other derivative products of the program.
