Faster, heavier & louder! That was the motto when Torch was formed back in Sweden in 1980. Torch emerged as one of the leading Heavy Metal bands to come out of the FWOSHM (First Wave of Swedish Heavy Metal) and toured with bands like Motorhead and Warlock (Doro). But in 1986 they called it quits. Despite the short life of Torch, they managed to influence bands like Machine Head and Bullet and musicians like Snowy Shaw (ex-King Diamond). Despite numerous requests Torch did not reunite until 2013. Now they're back....heavier than ever.
